Q) What is Boudoir Photography?
A) “A great deal of “boudoir” is now created in the photographer’s studio or in luxury hotel suites, where it has become very fashionable to create a set of sensual images for women in “boudoir style”. This often takes the shape of partly clothed images or images in lingerie, and has become more than just a passing fad for brides to surprise their future husbands. Bridal boudoir photography is becoming particularly popular. Brides often have an album of boudoir style photographs made as a present for their soon to be husbands. Other common themes for boudoir photography are anniversaries, birthdays, Valentine’s Day, weight loss, maternity, any form of body change or alteration (breast augmentation or reduction, etc.), and for soldiers overseas.” – Wikipedia
Q) Will you be my photographer for my shoot?
A) Yes absolutely! Molly Marie Boudoir is owned by me, Molly Marie and I am the sole photographer.
Q) Will the photos you take of me be on your website or blog?
A) Short Answer: I will never post your images online if you are not ok with it. Just let me know at your shoot and I will gladly respect your wishes. However, I urge you to read further into my privacy policy to gain a little more info.

PRIVACY POLICY:
If you booked your session with me chances are you saw my portfolio online! Thanks to all my wonderful clients I was able to post some of their photos on my blog/website so you would be able to see my boudoir photo style. I GREATLY appreciate any women who let me use some of their images for promo purposes and without them I would not be able to grow my business.
-I am able to make a sneak peek blog post of your shoot within 1 day or so if I’m able to post your images on my blog
-I will NEVER post boudoir photos to facebook (I would ABSOLUTELY NEVER tag you in them)
-the photos I choose of my clients for promo purposes are NEVER very revealing
-I would NEVER post an unflattering photo or you or a photo containing any nudity
-I will also NEVER post your last name along with any of your photos
-However, If you are just not comfortable with letting me use your images just let me know at your shoot and I will be 100% respectful of your privacy
BOUDOIR QUESTIONNNAIRE:
Prior to your shoot you will receive my “Boudoir Questionnaire” via your email inbox. You will be able to log in and fill out this questionnaire so I can help make your shoot 100% about you! It helps me to get an idea of your style, whether or not this is a gift, and how much skin you are looking to show in your photos. I would never want to make you pose in anyway that would make you feel uncomfortable
Q) What is needed to book my session?

Q) If I’m giving this as a gift how far in advance should I book?
A) Rush ordering is available. 2-3 weeks or more in advance is about perfect
Q) Do the prints/products I order come gift wrapped?
A) Yes, everything you order will come ready to gift give.
Q) Do you touch up/edit the images?
A) Yes, all the images on any prints/products you order will all be touched up. This includes softening wrinkles, cellulite, marks from clothing, makeup touch ups, etc.
Q) There’s a really cool hotel room I want to have my shoot in is that included?
A) Included in your session fee is the usage of my boutique boudoir studio. I have two boudoir studios. One is in Eau Claire, WI and the other is in Minneapolis, MN. If you choose to have your shoot done in a hotel room you are in charge of paying for the hotel room and any travel fees if the hotel is located outside of Eau Claire, WI. Any shoot taking place outside of the MMB studio is subject to a $100 fee.
Q) What does your studio look like and what is inside of it?
A) A portion of my cozy private studio is for viewing your proofs, albums and other items. Another portion is a shooting space filled with backdrops, props, etc. If you would like to see photos of my studio click on the “studio” link under “information.”
Inside the studio:
-Comfy bed setup
-endless amounts of backdrops (white, black, pink, damask, striped, etc.)
-hardwood floors
-rack for hanging your outfits
-changing room
-black birdcage veils and other accessories
-fireplace mantel
-zebra rug
-white furry rug
-cream vintage settee love seat
-red velvet tufted chair
-white/metal mod chairs
-chandelier
-full length mirror
-curtains
-lots of ottomans, chairs, props etc.
Q) I’m traveling to do my session with you at your studio. How will I be able to view my photos after my session?
A) Viewing sessions are done 30 minutes after your session, yay! Right after your shoot you can go get coffee, a snack etc. and then come back in 30 minutes to view/order the photos! We have a big screen TV for you to few all the photos on and we will help guide you through the process. All of our products are here in the studio as well for you to view & hold to see what you like best.
Q) Do you offer a discount if I book a back to back session with my best friend?
A) We have recently done away with our session fees. Email me to receive a complimentary Boudoir Shoot Gift Card & as many as you need for friends as well. If there’s 3 girls or more we call this a “boudoir bash.” Makeover(s) included! info@mollymarieboudoir.com
Q) Is it ok if I bring my own music to listen to during the shoot?
A) ABSOLUTELY! I have an ipod doc and a record player at the studio. So feel free to bring your ipod/iphone or any records you would like to play. If you don’t bring music I will always have some tunes playing. For boudoir parties & marathons I will often project music videos on the wall while shooting as well.
Q) Do you shoot nudes?
A) No. I do not shoot full nudes. “Boudoir Photography” is all about the illusion of nudity and leaving pieces to the imagination. My style of boudoir photography is classy, flirty, sexy and fun!
